2012 Teen Choice Awards: Movie Category

Here is the list of 2012’s Teen Choice Awards winners held last July 22, 2012 at Gibson Amphitheater, Universal City, Los Angeles California.

MOVIES

Choice Movie for the Action category goes to Abduction in which Taylor Lautner won the 2012’s Teen Choice Movie Actor Award together with actress Zoe Saldana for the movie Columbiana in which she was given the 2012’s Teen Choice Movie Actress award.

On the other hand, Hunger Games, the movie adaptation of Suzanne Collins trilogy won the Teen Choice Movie Award for the Science Fiction Category with Josh Hatcherson and Jennifer Laurence as the Teen Choice Movie Actor and Actress, not to mention the Choice Movie Liplock of the year.

Liam Hemsworth or Gail in the movie Hunger Games won the Choice Movie Stealer while Alexander Ludwig sweep his way for the Choice Movie Villain and Amanda Stenberg together with Katnis Everdeen or Jennifer Lawrence in real life won the Choice Movie Chemistry on the same movie.

The Lucky One, another movie adaptation from Nicholas Sparks collection won the Teen Choice Movie in the Drama Category where Zac Efron won his 2012 Teen Choice Movie Actor Award for the stated tier, he also won the choice movie actor for the romance category, also for the said portrayal in the stated film, while 21 Jump Street receive the choice movie for the comedy level with Channing Tatum as the Choice Movie Actor on the comedy category.

Nevertheless, someone is very happy with her awards as Emma Stone sweep off the Teen Choice Movie Actress Award for the Drama and Comedy categories for her portrayal in her movie The Help and Crazy, Stupid, Love.

As for the Romance category, another book adaptation written by Stephenie Meyer and probably one of the most awaited movie series finale of the year The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn won the choice movie for the romance category and Kristen Stewart as the choice movie actress for the same tier while Ashley Greene won Choice Movie Scene Stealer for her role as Alice Cullen in the said movie.

The recently concluded Snow White and the Huntsman bagged the Choice Summer Movie Star for both male and female from Chris Hemsworth’s portrayal of the huntsman (he also won for his role in the movie the Avangers), Kristen Stewart’s portrayal of Snow White and the Choice Movie Hissy Fit won by Charlize Theron as the Queen.

Furthermore, R&B singer Rhianna won the Choice Movie Breakout for her role in the movie Battleship while Katy Perry bagged her Choice Summer Movie on the Comedy Music Category for her song Part of Me, consequently Taylor Swift take in another inclusion as Choice Movie Voice for her voice over as Audrey in the film Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax.

Korean Fashion

What is the first thing that you notice when it comes to Korean fashion? Let’s jot it down, first would be their accessories, have you notice how feminine and cute their fashion jewelries are, from hunky bracelet’s and necklace pendants, rings up to the most detailed accessories they have and more.

They love black, the Goth fashion for their jewelries, clothes and make up except they are not wearing too much foundation just black liners for their eyes, but what’s more eye catching would be their love for the vibrant colors of summer, hot pink, acrylic green, neon blue, crimson red, and glitters.

Korean girls love to wear head accessories of the Sanrio Characters, hello Kitty at most, perhaps because it’s pink. If they are not wearing a hair accessory, surely their crown and glory are fixed into something cute, spiky, sometimes curly or dyed, its too rare to see a Korean girl wearing her hair the usual bland straight and black, its either curly, dyed, with ribbons or colorful bobby pins, oh and they loved bangs and some extreme hair cuts.

Another thing you probably notice is their love for nail polishes, even their guys sport a black polished nails.

What else, the girls loves wearing shorts, skirts and dresses in vibrant summer and spring colors, not sure though if it is because of the summer season, but then again, even in winter you’ll see these girls wearing floral prints.

Next would be for the boys, most of the Korean boys wear white and colorful jeans of green, red, hot pink, or if not they would probably sport into checkered ones, then they will pair it with a white shirt with cute prints and eye glasses.

Oh, and both genders loves hats, and shirts with vertical or horizontal prints.

What else, hmm I can’t think any more, this post is just a random one. It was like I’m in a middle of a very important work then I opened a new page and boom! Korean’s. Then I was transferred into a different dimension where time and space collapse in front of me and nothing else matters but to have this post.

The Color of July: Crimson Blush

When I was younger my favorite colors are pink and sky blue, I remember exchanging scented stationary papers in different shades of pink and sky blue, my friends would usually order their snacks on a pink colored lunch box, and the funny thing is all girls would boast on how cute and pretty our school bags are when in fact, we have the same color of pink, most of the time either Barbie or Hello Kitty.

Then I entered high school, still the fascination in pink and sky blue doesn’t fade. You’ll see me with a pink head band, sometimes a sky blue scarf with little pink prints. My notebooks are covered with pink little patterns, sky blue cut out name while the remaining things are either in pink and sky blue.

When I entered my senior high, the pink fascination slowly shift into something much darker, but is still there, I think that part of me will never fade. Nevertheless, I opted for something brighter, from sky blue comes blue and from pink I fell in love with red.

I love the mystery that crimson red gives, the power it exudes and the confidence each wearer visualized. It gives a hint of femininity with an immeasurable confidence. And I wanted to be just like that kind of lady, feminine but confident, strong but knows when she can’t handle it alone, someone soft yet at the same time strong. Can you still understand what I am saying? I hope so, because it’s hard to explain what I feel when it comes to this color.

Anyway, I decided to choose crimson blush as this months color it is a dark red color with a hint of pink simply because the pink blush is a part of me, something I can never erase, sometimes might forgotten but will always remain as a part of me. On the other hand, the dark red represents the birthstone jewelry of this month which is ruby.

One of the most loved at the same time hated actress. Stewart even outrank Ms Congeniality Sandra Bullock who earned 25 million dollars from her Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, The Blind Side and the soon to be released science-fiction Gravity.

Even Angelina Jolie’s earnings didn’t match Twilight star’s earnings. Although Jolie didn’t have a movie this year and her earnings all came from endorsements to top brands, she is “Angelina Jolie”.

Style of the Month: Prints and Patterns

Browsing the internet one can really get thousands of ideas. There are times where you are thinking about a certain topic, tried searching for further details, taking notes of the information you gather and then just because of a certain change of window, something came popping on your mind again.

And you know what’s the worst part is? Forgetting the real reason why you are gathering certain information as new ideas came flooding on your mind that you can’t help yourself but to put it on print and share it to every one.

Well, this is it, one faithful summer morning I was collecting a data about a certain work related topic, changed tab and then boom it’s Pinterest a social network where people posts images, women’s apparel at most flood on that web page at that moment. And I was awestruck as new ideas rush in my head I was itching to put it on print and here it is “Style of the Month: Prints and Patterns”

This photo is reason why my head becomes covered with something else. The first thing that caught my attention was the clothes she was wearing, vibrant, colorful with different print in all sorts of patterns. It looks so summerish and the fashion jewelry she was wearing is so cool, remember the trend for this year, simple but chunky, tribal and colorful beads. Then I notice her expression and I was lost, left with no other choice but to leave what I have been doing and instead finish this update.

As I keep on browsing, I stumbled upon this photo, not so different from the first one, but attention grabber just the same. The models are not wearing any fashion jewelry but the print and patterns of the apparel they are modeling are really nice.

In this picture as you can notice the bottom is not the real pair or can not even be considered as a nice pair for the printed blazer and patterned blouse, it's just that I cant find something suitable so I just advised you to either wear a denim jeans, perhaps a skinny jeans or a skirt. And don't wear a necklace as a fashion jewelry with this type of clothes, well that's my own style, but if you look closely, the inner shirt is filled with patterns and ruffles so better not wear a chunky or tribal necklace. Just wear an earring of maybe a bracelet, that would be much better. As for the printed jeans, well I cant help it so I decided to also published it.

Another summerish dress that caught my attention. Green, yellow, orange are all combined in a white dress. Summerish, hmm simple, lemon, oranges, green leaves, all those zesty summer fruits that's so refreshing it also makes my eyes refreshed.

Lastly, nice clothes should be paired with the same nice accessories, and this are not just fashion jewelry, shoes are also important same as bags.

June and Weddings: A Story thru Images

I don’t know the real story behind these photos, but looking at it from the first image up to the last one, this is surely one of the most beautiful events in a couples lives. Consequently, since this is a photo I saw on a social network, there is not enough space to narrate each and every image but any person who’ll see this can definitely create a story on the events that happened during that time.

Through these images, you can see the passion, giddiness, excitement and nervousness, perhaps all the emotions there is. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Actually these are not the original sequence of the photo. I just crop and paste from the original image and create my own flow of events.

My original plan is to add short excerpts on my own words based on the sequenced I created, but then as I clicked the preview button (checking if the images goes out the way I want it to be) I realized words are not needed, the couples emotions are enough for you to understand the events. Each photo shows their passion and love for each other that even someone whose not good at weaving stories can tell, this is a perfect fairy tale.

June: Pearls, Flowers and Weddings

I wonder what is it about June and weddings, anyway that was way back, when I was still a child and whenever the month of June approaches there are so many couples (mostly my relatives, either my aunt, uncle or any of my cousins) getting married, while on some days of the month either we attend one my relatives, sometimes my parents friends, even our neighbors wedding anniversary dinners.

But as I’ve said, that was during my childhood days, slowly as I passed this phrase I notice how great the season is, the trace of winter is gone, the weather is so fine that you can taste summer through the breeze, the fields are gradually getting greener every single day and flowers are starting to be in full bloom. And that was when I realized that weddings are really great during the month of June.

Nevertheless, I won’t pick June when the time comes that I walk down the aisle, (that would be a few more years) maybe May, my birth month or perhaps sometime from the "ber" months. I don’t want to join the June brides, as much as possible I want to be the only bride to get my vows on a certain month if that’s possible, but then again, I notice that churches and other venues are always jam packed for wedding events whatever time and date.

Talking about wedding dates, June I think is the halfway of summer, flowers blooming everywhere, their scents surrounding the whole place, oh by the way, June's birthstone jewelry is pearl, and an old saying somewhere in Asia stated that a bride shouldn’t wear pearls on her wedding day, include it on her wedding dress or any part of her body, for she is bound to cry all throughout her marriage if she do so. But no one said you cant add pearls on your wedding cake.

A few weeks ago, I posted something about the Real Life Barbie’s since during that time Valeria Lukyanova is trending all over the world, so I decided to feature them (Kotakoti and Lukyanova). Nevertheless, what surprises me is that, Valeria Lukyanova is not the most search name, in fact, according to my blogs data, Kota Koti or Dakota Rose is what people are searching for. With this knowledge I got even more curious than the first time I learned about Kotakoti, and the result of my curiosity is here.

Okay then, Dakota Ostrenga as her birth given name or Kotakoti as the Asian’s addressed her or Dakota Rose one of the most sensational online personality is a real life Barbie. As far as the information I gather through reading and browsing all articles available, she came from Japan, but then some articles stated that she is now based in San Francisco, wherever she is, I really don’t mind since she’s been posting her videos on YouTube.

I don’t know why people are so interested in real life dolls, maybe because just like Barbie, they looked so pretty with their porcelain like complexion, big expressive eyes, perfect lips and body, fashion jewelry, designer clothes and shoes, and of course fame.

Anyway going back to the topic, since there is not much information regarding Kotakoti/Dakota Rose lets just all see her photos and you be the judge if what she claims to be “surgery free” and “only make-up” look is true or not.

And that's Dakota Rose, an online sensation, a living doll, a real life barbie. Whatever you call her, my point here is that, its her own life, she wanted something, she did her best to do everything to achieve her goal.

In the future she can say to herself, I did my best. Yes, she might regret the decisions she made today but we are all living at the present time at least she get what she wanted, in the future let her face the consequences of her actions.
